We study the molecular regulation of inflammation and antiviral defence. We develop camelid single domain antibodies (VHHs) and other engineered protein tools to visualise and manipulate inflammasome assembly, pyroptotic cell death and antiviral immune responses in living cells.
Our goal is to track inflammatory responses at the level of molecules, complexes and cells, so that human immunobiology can be studied in its physiological setting.
